The Center of Light, Institute of Sound Healing and Shamanic Studies, provides training in the art of sound healing as a therapeutic practice, studies and in depth experiential practice through its shamanic Earth Mysteries School, personal workshops incorporating esoteric studies and meditation practices with the deeply moving and transformative power of Sacred Sound Transmissions, and private healing therapies utilizing Sacred Sound, spiritual counseling, and shamanic practice. Our workshops and individual therapies and studies are designed to draw us to our own innate wisdom and personal power, develop intuitive guidance and authenticity, deepening relationship with that we hold as sacred, awakening the core of our being, and enlivening us to pursue our personal destiny.

Qualifications:

Zacciah Blackburn is a sound healer trained in classical healing and shamanic traditions, and sacred sound cultures, and is practicing in Ascutney, VT, at the Center of Light. He began a conscious journey to self awakening in 1969, was guided to develop understanding in intuitive healing, in sacred sound cultures, and in the making of musical instruments of sacred sound cultures. His studies exposed him to the sacred music, sound healing traditions, and master teachers of numerous cultures. Since 1985, he has used his knowledge and experience in creating studies and a healing practice to share with others. He utilizes sound coupled with sacred intention as a therapeutic tool, in shamanic style settings, for personal healing and transformation. He has since offered numerous programs on the nature of self transformation through the use of esoteric and alchemical practices and exercises, invoking sacred sound streams through his voice, which he calls Sacred Sound Transmissions.

Zacciah has been instrumental in the formation of the New England Sound Healing Research Institute (NESHRI,) a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the understanding of sound healing through education, networking, community building, and scientific research. He has been named to the board of directors, and is Director of Education for NESHRI. He is co-founder of the World Sound Healing Organization, a non-profit organization joining the efforts of numerous individuals and organizations world wide, dedicated to service to this planet, to its healing and growth, and to the elevation of human consciousness, embracing the use of sound as a healing catalyst in simple ceremony throughout the world, , as well as co-founder of the All One Now Network. He is also a member of the Associated Psychotherapists of Vermont.
